1. Raptor Tech Introduction & Information

Introducing Raptor Tech – Pakistan’s First E-Scooter Rental Service

Raptor Tech is a trailblazing mobility startup and the first company in Pakistan to introduce smart, dockless e-scooter rentals. Pioneering the future of urban transportation, we provide an affordable, eco-friendly, and tech-driven solution to daily commuting challenges. Our mission is to reduce traffic congestion, lower carbon emissions, and offer seamless last-mile connectivity across Pakistan’s busiest cities.

RAPTOR TECH (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED is an incorporated company registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).
(i) Electric Scooter Rental carries on the business of renting out electric scooters (e-Scooters) through its application for web-enabled mobile phones (the RAPTOR TECH App). The e-Scooters can only be rented by customers who have registered via the RAPTOR TECH App.

2. USER AGREEMENT FOR RAPTOR TECH APP

Raptor Tech Services Rental Agreement, Waiver of Liability, and Release
PLEASE READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY. IT SETS FORTH THE LEGALLY BINDING TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

In consideration of your use of any of the Raptor Tech e-Scooter Services (defined below) provided by the operator of Raptor Tech, Raptor Tech requires that you (“Rider”, “You”, or “Your”) agree to all terms and conditions in this Agreement, Waiver of Liability, and Release (“Agreement”).

The “Services” provided by Raptor Tech include:


(i) Our parking zone locations.


(ii) All other related equipment, personnel, charging stations for electric scooter batteries, mobile applications, websites, and information provided or made available by Raptor Tech (collectively, the “Services”).

You must be the named holder of the bank account or credit card whose details you provide to RAPTOR TECH. You are obliged to keep the personal data you provide during the registration process up to date. This applies particularly to your email address, personal mobile phone number, and payment details.

You may not permit any third parties to use a RAPTOR TECH e-Scooter that you have booked via your user account, nor may you provide your login details for use by other persons. You must, without delay:



(i) Change your password if there is reason to believe that any other person has become aware of it.

(ii) Notify RAPTOR TECH of this fact.
In order to use the RAPTOR TECH App, you must have a web-enabled mobile phone that meets the technical requirements of the RAPTOR TECH App. Whenever the RAPTOR TECH App is downloaded, the user’s mobile phone will automatically be checked to determine whether it meets those requirements. You are responsible for ensuring that mobile data communications are possible, and you shall bear any charges made by your mobile service provider for data transmission.
(vi) You must inform RAPTOR TECH without delay of any loss or theft of the mobile phone associated with your user account or of any other circumstances that may allow third parties to use your user account. To prevent misuse, RAPTOR TECH will disable access until the matter is resolved and will inform you via email that access has been disabled.

4. RENTING AN E-SCOOTER AND STARTING A RIDE

The rental of e-Scooters is subject to availability. The e-Scooters are available only within a defined territory in a particular area (the Business Territory)

(i) You may only rent e-Scooters that are designated as available in the RAPTOR TECH App. Note that occasionally, an inaccurate GPS signal may cause deviations between the actual location of an e-Scooter and the location shown in the RAPTOR TECH App.
(ii) By clicking “Start Ride” in the RAPTOR TECH App, you make a binding offer to rent the e-Scooter. RAPTOR TECH accepts this offer by releasing the e-Scooter for your use, creating a rental contract for that ride.
(iii) You must notify RAPTOR TECH without undue delay of any defects or damage to the e-Scooter that you become aware of prior to commencing your ride. You must not use an e-Scooter if any such defects or damage appear likely to impair traffic safety or the general functionality of the e-Scooter.
(iv) Similarly, you must notify RAPTOR TECH as soon as reasonably possible of any other obvious defects or damage, such as worn tires or damage to the mudguard.
(v) RAPTOR TECH may call you on the mobile phone number registered in your user account if it detects significant disruptions in your use of the e-Scooter.
(vi) In some cities, we offer the possibility to rent several RAPTOR TECH e-Scooters simultaneously as part of a group ride (“Group Ride”). Group Rides are subject to supply and availability in the respective Business Zone, as displayed in the App.
(vii) To use Group Ride, you must ensure that each guest reads our T&Cs, is over 18, and that all rented e-Scooters are used and parked properly. You agree to pay all fees incurred during the Group Ride and are responsible for any damage caused by your guests. Individual rides in a Group Ride may only be ended after all e-Scooters are no longer in use.

5. ENDING A RIDE

When ending your ride, you must park the e-Scooter properly and follow the procedure in the RAPTOR TECH App to terminate the rental.

(i) You must check the RAPTOR TECH App for the boundaries of the Business Territory and prohibited parking zones. Ending a rental outside the designated Business Territory may result in a wrong parking fee of PKR 500. 
(ii) You may terminate the rental via the RAPTOR TECH App only if the e-Scooter is within the Business Territory and outside prohibited parking zones. Note that you cannot terminate a ride without an internet connection.
(iii) If you fail to end the rental via the RAPTOR TECH App after parking, the rental will automatically terminate after 10 minutes of inactivity unless the e-Scooter is moved or used.
(iv) If technical issues prevent you from terminating the rental, notify RAPTOR TECH immediately to coordinate resolution.
(v) Your obligation to pay the rental charge ends only when the rental is terminated, unless termination was impossible for reasons beyond your control.
(vi) Upon termination, the total rental period and charge will be displayed, and an invoice will be sent to your registered email address.

6. PARKING AN E-SCOOTER

(i) After completing your ride, the e-Scooter must be locked and parked in a designated Raptor Tech Zone. Failure to do so will result in continued charges and a non-compliance fee (PKR 500).
(ii) Park the e-Scooter in a Raptor Tech Zone following all laws. Do not park in non-public spots, private property, or locked areas.
(iii) Use the kickstand to park the e-Scooter. Do not park:

  • At right angles to roads/sidewalks.
  • Near intersections, trees, traffic signs, or emergency exits.
  • On pedestrian crossings, inside buildings, or in restricted areas.

7. PAYMENT OF THE RENTAL FEE

You must pay the rental fee for using an e-scooter. Before renting, the App will display the charges of the pass.

(i) Payments are processed through third-party providers. Ensure sufficient funds; unpaid fees may incur penalties.

8. ASSIGNMENT

RAPTOR TECH may transfer its rights/obligations under this Agreement to another entity. User data may be shared with successors, subject to privacy policy updates.

9. PERMISSION TO DRIVE

You may ride e-Scooters only if:

  • You are ≥18 years old.
  • You have an active RAPTOR TECH account.
  • You can operate the e-Scooter safely and lawfully.

10. CUSTOMER SAFETY MEASURES

Before each ride, inspect the e-Scooter for damage or malfunctions. Do not ride if issues are detected.
(i) Observe the 100 kg maximum load limit.

(ii) Wear a helmet where required by law.

(iii) Do not leave the e-Scooter unattended during the rental.

(iv) Report accidents, defects, or damages immediately.

(v) Do not ride under the influence of alcohol/drugs.

(vi) Commercial use, passenger transport, and unauthorized repairs are prohibited.

11. ACCIDENT PROTOCOL

Report accidents involving injury, property damage, or theft to RAPTOR TECH and local police (within 24 hours). You are liable for misuse or negligence.

12. GPS TRACKING

E-Scooters are GPS-enabled for location monitoring, theft prevention, and performance analysis.

13. RAPTOR TECH’S LIABILITY

We are liable for foreseeable losses due to our negligence but we exclude business/commercial use losses.

14. CUSTOMER LIABILITIES

You are liable for:

  • Theft, damage, or loss of e-Scooters.
  • Traffic violations, fines, and third-party claims.
  • Costs from illegal parking or out-of-territory rides.

15. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION

Access may be blocked for:

  • Payment defaults.
  • Fraudulent activity.
  • Repeated violations.

16. TERMINATION

  • By User: 2 weeks’ notice.
  • By RAPTOR TECH: Immediate for cause (e.g., fraud, safety breaches).

17. DATA PRIVACY

Personal data is collected for account registration, payments, and customer support.

18. GOVERNING LAW

Pakistani law governs disputes. Civil remedies include lawsuits for damages.

19. GENERAL PROVISIONS

  • Amendments: Terms may update without notice.
  • Severability: Invalid clauses do not void remaining terms.
